This flute virtuoso blends ethnic and classical elements to create an unprecedented gateway of sound. Her silver and ethnic flutes (bamboo flutes, panpipes, ocarinas) have enchanted audiences since 1988.  Having written music for documentaries, dance companies and video, Tulip’s sought after performances and compositions have evoked deeply felt response:

“Claudia’s sounds both haunt and center. They come into my brain as if just let out of an Aztec pyramid where they have been kept like a sacred fire for the past 3,000 years. I am privileged, indeed, to hear them. I want to go on hearing them. Claudia’s sounds are the right sounds, healing sounds, transcendental sounds stretching far across time from a secret land she brings to share with us. The real test for music for me is how long it can play in my head after the CD stops. Claudia’s music goes on for days.”
